    Micromix is a very versatile equipment that can be applied to a wide range of processes and products to work with.

    The main characteristic and the basic difference regarding other agitators, is the intense shearing produced by the rotor/stator turbine. This turbine also combines a double action (mixing and shearing) on the product as it passes through the head. Therefore it achieves a reduction in the size of slightly soluble solids without lumps or gets uniform and stable water-based emulsions of fatty products.

    The AME kneader extruder series, has been developed for the production of medium and high viscosity pastes that present difficulties in discharging and handling.

    The Kneader Extruder is a batch mixer that combines the action of the Double Sigma Blade mixer with an extrusion screw, placed parallel in the lower part of the mixing trough. During mixing, the extrusion screw is run in reverse, creating a third mixing action on the product, increasing mixing efficiency. When the operation is completed, discharge / extrusion can be performed, by simply reversing the direction of the extrusion screw. The Sigma Blades normally continue to run throughout the mixing and discharge process.

    The MAX-MIX process centre is a multifunction system, ideal for manufacturing liquid and viscous products which require dispersion, homogenisation and emulsion stages, in both solid/liquid and liquid/liquid phases, and which require a total deaeration, possible due to the internal vacuum circuit. The process can also include heating or cooling of the products during manufacture, solids or fluids loading by means of vacuum, as well as recirculation and discharge of the products by positive displacement without external aid.   • A deaerator is a totally compact sanitary device designed for the removal of air or other occluded gases from any type of liquid or paste, by means of vacuum. The operating principle comprises the formation of a fine layer of product inside a vacuum chamber, depending on the viscosity, speed and design of the distributor plate. As a result of the vacuum effect, the air bubbles are burst and the deaerated product is discharged through the lower part by means of a positive displacement helicoidal pump. Numerous processes including the manufacture of food products, cosmetics and chemicals amongst others, need to avoid air oxidation to ensure a correct preservation or application. End products can be mentioned, such as sauces, fruit pulp, cosmetic creams, syrups, PVC dispersions, lubricants, car polish, shower gels, paraffin and penicillin emulsions, ice creams, adhesives, etc. Production capacities range from 20 to 5000 kg/h in continuous operation.
